Oh, patient audience of Harry Strange, we are pleased to announce our Season 3 start date. But, before we do that, I’d just like to take a moment to explain what goes into this decision.
We recorded the first part of Season 3 back in Jan-Feb with the intentions of launching in March. However, life happens sometimes: things get rearranged—screws fall out—it’s an imperfect world. Due to the need to recast and rework some of the stories, our March start date was pushed back to May. And then, due to the need to recast and rework …well, you know the words, sing it with me, our start date was pushed back a tad bit further.
The good news is that the recasting and reworking for the first part of Season 3 is finished. Yay!!! Now we need to record principle characters for about 4 episodes and start on post-production for the rest. Which, by the way, if you’re interested in post-production work (mixing, line edits, sfx, etc.) feel free to send us an email and let us know.
All this leads to our announcement. Season 3 (Part 1) will launch on September 8, 2013 and air weekly until the hour-long mid-season finale on Halloween 2013. We will be back in February 2014 with the final 8 episodes of Season 3. (And we will probably work a Christmas episode in there as well).
Soooo—there you have it. Mark it down on your calendars; tell your friends and neighbors—Harry Strange is coming back and he isn’t taking prisoners.
